ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ହସ୍ତତନ୍ତ ଶିଳ୍ପକୁ ପୁଣି ଏକ ଉଲ୍ଲେଖନୀୟ ସ୍ବୀକୃତି ମିଳିବାକୁ ଯାଉଛି। ଗଞ୍ଜାମର ଅନ୍ୟତମ ହାତ ତିଆରି କାରିଗରୀ ତଥା ବୋମକେଇ ପାଟ ଶାଢ଼ୀ ସହ ସମ୍ପୃକ୍ତ ଓଢ଼ଣୀରେ ନିଆରା ଡିଜାଇନ୍ ରାଜ୍ୟ ହସ୍ତତନ୍ତ ପୁରସ୍କାର ଦୌଡ଼ରେ ସାମିଲ୍ ହୋଇପାରିଛି। ଆଉ ଏହା ପଛରେ ରହିଛନ୍ତି ଜଣେ ଯୁବ ବୁଣାକାର ୟୁ.ନୀଳକଣ୍ଠ। ନିଜ ହାତବୁଣା ଓଢ଼ଣୀରେ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତାର ଚିତ୍ର ଆଙ୍କି ଏକ ସଚେତନତା ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିଛନ୍ତି ସେ। ଆଉ ସେଥିପାଇଁ ଓଢ଼ଣୀ ଦେହରେ ବୁଣା ଯାଇଥିବା ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତାର ଚିତ୍ର ରାଜ୍ୟ ହସ୍ତତନ୍ତ ପୁରସ୍କାର ପ୍ରତିଯୋଗିତା ଦୌଡ଼ରେ ସାମିଲ ହୋଇପାରିଛି। 

ହାତତିଆରି ଉତ୍ପାଦନ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରୁଥିବା ପାରମ୍ପରିକ ବୁଣାକାରଙ୍କ ଗ୍ରାମ ଭାବେ ନାଁ କମାଇଛି ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ଦିଗପହଣ୍ଡି ବ୍ଲକ୍ ପଦ୍ମନାଭପୁର। ଏଠାରେ ବୁଣାକାରଙ୍କ ଦ୍ଵାରା ତିଆରି କରାଯାଉଥିବା ଶାଢ଼ୀ ବୋମକେଇ ଶାଢ଼ୀ ଭାବେ ପରିଚିତ। ଏହି ଗ୍ରାମର ବାସିନ୍ଦା ୟୁ.ନୀଳକଣ୍ଠ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କର ୮ ଜଣିଆ ପରିବାର ପୂର୍ବରୁ କଟନ୍‌ ଲୁଗା ତିଆରି କରୁଥିଲେ। ଗତ କିଛି ମାସ ହେବ ନୀଳକଣ୍ଠ ବୋମକେଇ ଡିଜାଇନ୍‌କୁ ନିଜ ହାତ ତିଆରି ଶାଢ଼ୀ ବୁଣାରେ ପ୍ରୟୋଗ କରିବାରେ ଲାଗିଛନ୍ତି। ବୟନ ବିଭାଗ ତତ୍ତ୍ଵାବଧାନରେ ବୋମକେଇ ଡିଜାଇନ୍‌ରେ ନୀଳକଣ୍ଠ ବୁଣିଛନ୍ତି ଏକ ଓଢ଼ଣୀ ଯାହାର ଥିମ୍ ରହିଛି ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛ ଭାରତ ଅଭିଯାନ। ଆଧୁନିକତାର ତାଡ଼ନାରେ ଧିରେ ଧିରେ ନିଜ ସତ୍ତା ସଂରକ୍ଷଣ ସକାଶେ ସଂଘର୍ଷରତ ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ବୋମକେଇର ପୁନରୁଦ୍ଧାର ଦିଗରେ ଏକ ପ୍ରୟାସ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ସାମ୍ପ୍ରତିକ ସମୟର ଏକ ଥିମ୍‌କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି ନୀଳକଣ୍ଠ। 

୨.୫ ମିଟର ଲମ୍ବ ଓ ୦.୯୫ ମିଟର ଓସାରର ବୋମକେଇ କଟନ୍ ଓଢ଼ଣୀ ବୁଣିବାକୁ ତିନି ମାସ ସମୟ ନେଇଥିଲେ ନୀଳକଣ୍ଠ। ପ୍ରଥମେ ଏହାର ଗ୍ରାଫ୍ ଆଙ୍କିଥିଲେ ଓ ସେହି ଅନୁସାରେ ଡିଜାଇନ୍ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି କରି ଏହାକୁ ପ୍ରାୟ ଦୁଇ ସପ୍ତାହ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବୁଣି ତିଆରି କରିଥିଲେ ସେ। ଓଢ଼ଣୀର ଗୋଟିଏ ପାର୍ଶ୍ବରେ ବୋମକେଇ ଡିଜାଇନ୍ ଚିତ୍ରିତ ହୋଇଛି ତ ଅପର ପାର୍ଶ୍ଵରେ ରହିଛି ଗାନ୍ଧିଜୀଙ୍କ ଚିତ୍ର, ଚଷମା ଓ ଚରଖା।

ସେଥିରେ ଲେଖାଯାଇଥିବା ‘ଏକ୍ କଦମ୍ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତା କୀ ଔର୍’ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତା ଅଭିଯାନର ସଚେତନତାମୂଳକ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ପରିବେଷଣ କରୁଛି। ଏହି ଓଢ଼ଣୀ ରାଜ୍ୟ ହସ୍ତତନ୍ତ ପୁରସ୍କାର ଦୌଡ଼ରେ ରହିଛି।

ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ତ୍ୱରାନ୍ୱିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟିଲା ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଡେଭଲପମେଣ୍ଟ ଫୋରମ; ଛଅ ମାସରେ କାମ ସାରିବାକୁ ପ୍ରତ୍ରିଶ୍ରୁତି

ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର ଠାରେ ଗ୍ରୀନ-ଫିଲଡ଼ ସବୁଦିନିଆ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କୁ ତ୍ୱରାନ୍ୱିତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଡେଭଲପମେଣ୍ଟ ଫୋରମ ର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକର୍ତ୍ତା ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟି ଆଲୋଚନା କରିଛନ୍ତି।

ଉଲ୍ଲେଖନୀୟ,୨୦୧୪ ରେ ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର ରୁ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର କୁ ବିମାନ ସଂଯୋଗର ପ୍ରଚେଷ୍ଟା ହୋଇ ସାରିଛି। ସେହି ସମୟରେ କିଛି ଦିନ ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର ରୁ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର କୁ ବିମାନ ଚାଲିଥିଲା ଓ ତାହାକୁ ଏକତରଫା ଭାବେ ସରକାର ବନ୍ଦ କରିଦେଇ ଥିଲେ। ଏହାପରେ ଗତ ଚାରି ବର୍ଷ ତଳୁ ଆର.ସି.ଏସ-ଉଡାଣ ୪.୧ ଯୋଜନା ରେ ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର (ରଙ୍ଗେଈଲୁଣ୍ଡା) ଏଇରଷ୍ଟ୍ରିପ କୁ ଏକ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣାଙ୍ଗ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦର ରେ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାର ଅନୁମତି ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି। କିନ୍ତୁ ରଙ୍ଗେଈଲୁଣ୍ଡା ରେ ଜାଗା ର ଅଭାବ ଯୋଗୁଁ ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର ସହର ବାହାରେ ଏକ ବଡ ଜାଗା ରେ ଗ୍ରୀନ-ଫିଲଡ଼ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ପାଇଁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାରଙ୍କୁ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଡେଭଲପମେଣ୍ଟ ଫୋରମ ଅନୁରୋଧ କରିଥିଲା ଓ ବିକଳ୍ପ ଜାଗା ଥିବାର ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଥିଲା।

କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାରଙ୍କ ସହମତି ଥିବା ସତ୍ତ୍ବେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର ରେ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ପାଇଁ ଶୀତଳାପଲ୍ଲୀ ଠାରେ ନିର୍ଧାରିତ ହୋଇଥିବା ଜମି କୁ ନା ଯୋଗାଇ ଦେଲେ ନା ଅନ୍ୟ କୌଣସି ପଦକ୍ଷପ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ।

ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଡେଭଲପମେଣ୍ଟ ଫୋରମ ର ଚେଷ୍ଟା ପରେ ଜୟପୁର ଠାରେ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ହେଲା ଅଥଚ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ର ପ୍ରାଣକେନ୍ଦ୍ର ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର ପ୍ରତି ସରକାରଙ୍କ ବୈମାତୃକ ମନୋଭାବ ରେ କିଛି ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ ଆସିଲା ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଏହି ବୈମାତୃକ ମନୋଭାବ ବିରୋଧରେ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଡେଭଲପମେଣ୍ଟ ଫୋରମ ଓ ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ର ପ୍ରାୟ ୩୨ ଅନ୍ୟ ସଂଗଠନ ଗତ ପାଞ୍ଚ ବର୍ଷ ହେଲା ତୀବ୍ର ଶ୍ୱର ଉତ୍ତୋଳନ କରି ଆନ୍ଦୋଳନ କରି ଆସୁଛନ୍ତି।

ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦର ନାଁ ରେ ବାରମ୍ବାର ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଭୂଆଁ ବୁଲାଉଛନ୍ତି। ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ଠାରୁ ୫୦ କିମି ଦୂରରେ ପୁରୀ ଓ କୋଣାର୍କ ରେ ଦୁଇଟି ଅନ୍ତରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରୀୟ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦର, ଝାରସୁଗୁଡା ବିମାନବନ୍ଦର ଠାରୁ ୯୮ କିମି ଦୂରରେ ଥିବା ରାଉରକେଲା ଓ ୫୦ କିମି ଦୂରରେ ଥିବା ହୀରାକୁଦ ଠାରେ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ପାଇଁ ସରକାର ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନେଇଛନ୍ତି। ଏହାଛଡା ଉତ୍କେଳା, ମାଲକାନଗିରି, ବାରିପଦା ପ୍ରଭୃତି ଅନେକ ଛୋଟ ସହରରେ ନୂଆଁ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ପାଇଁ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସରକାର ଅଣ୍ଟା ଭିଡ଼ିଥିବା ବେଳେ ୪୦ ଲକ୍ଷ ଜନସଂଖ୍ୟା ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ର ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁରକୁ ବାରମ୍ବାର ଉପେକ୍ଷା କରାଯାଉଛି।

ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ର ପ୍ରାୟ ୧୫ ରୁ ୨୦ ଲକ୍ଷ ପ୍ରବାସୀ ଦେଶ ଓ ଦେଶ ବାହାରେ ରହୁଥିବା ଓ ସେମାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦରର ଯଥେଷ୍ଟ ଆବଶ୍ୟକତା ରହିଥିବା ବେଳେ ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା କୁ ବିଳମ୍ବିତ କରାଯାଉଛି।

ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ହେଲେ ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ରେ ଶିଳ୍ପାୟନ, ଉତ୍ତମ ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସେବା, ପର୍ଯ୍ୟଟନ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଅଭିବୃଦ୍ଧି, ଶିକ୍ଷା କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ଅଭିବୃଦ୍ଧି, ଯୁବକ ଯୁବତୀ ମାନଙ୍କୁ ରୋଜଗାର ଏଭଳି ବିବିଧ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ବିକାଶ ହୋଇପାରିବ ଓ ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ର ବିକାଶ ତୀବ୍ରତର ହେବ; ତେଣୁ ଫୋରମ ର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକର୍ତ୍ତାଙ୍କ ଅନୁରୋଧ କ୍ରମେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାର ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର (ରଙ୍ଗେଈଲୁଣ୍ଡା) ଏଇରଷ୍ଟ୍ରିପ କୁ ଏକ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣାଙ୍ଗ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦର ରେ ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ନେଇଥିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଏହି କାମ ବି ମନ୍ଥର ଗତିରେ ଚାଲିଥିବାରୁ ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର ଗ୍ରୀନ-ଫିଲଡ଼ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ପାଇଁ ସରକାରଙ୍କ କଣ ଯୋଜନା ରହିଥିବା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକର୍ତ୍ତାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନର ଉତ୍ତର ରେ ଆସନ୍ତା ଛଅ ମାସରେ ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର (ରଙ୍ଗେଈଲୁଣ୍ଡା) ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣାଙ୍ଗ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦର କାମ ସାରିବା ପାଇଁ ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ପ୍ରତିଶୃତି ଦେଇଥିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଗ୍ରୀନ-ଫିଲଡ଼ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ପାଇଁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସୁଦ୍ଧା ବଡ ଜାଗା ନିର୍ଣ୍ଣୟ ହୋଇ ପାରିନଥିବା ର ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଥିଲେ ।

Plastic-Free Berhampur: Reverse Vending Machine Installed At Old Bus Stand

 In order to achieve a plastic-free Berhampur and in to create an awareness initiative, a Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) has been installed at the Old Bus Stand in Berhampur by the local civic body in collaboration with HDFC Bank.

Plastic has become a major pollutant to the environment. It has been seen that Plastic products contributed to the blockage of the drainage system and ecosystem.

As part of Swacha Bharat Abhiyan to make Berhampur plastic-free, Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) started the Plastic Free programe collaborating with HDFC Bank Parivartan.

HDFC BANK in turn has roped in the Centre for Environment Education (CEE) as implementing partner for this Plastic Free Program.

Citizens will drop off their plastic, and polythene and get a discount coupon which can be used at Local Restaurants and Swiggy/ Zomato for food. BeMC has provided the space for the installation of the RVM which will be maintained by the CEE.

Pimpri Chinchwad municipal official & principals visit iconic scrap sculpture park in ITI Berhampur

 Ulhas Jagtap, Additional Commissioner of Maharashtra’s Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) near Pune, along with Shashikant Patil, Principal PCMC ITI Morwadi, PCMC ITI (Girls) Kasarwadi and other three officers from ITIs of Pune, visited ITI Berhampur campus on Saturday. The aim of their visit was to explore good skill training practices of ITI, Berhampur particularly  ‘Waste to Weath’ project, in which students make useful products from scrap. The guests visited the Scrap Sculpture Park at ITI Campus and other scrap sculptures mounted in Berhampur town by ITI Berhampur.

They appreciated the skills of ITI students and commended their role in waste management. Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has a proposal to set up a scrap park in Pimpri Chinchwad municipal area, Jagtap said. 

The visitors took particular notice of the success stories of female ITI students of Berhampur, who plan to become entrepreneurs now. The guests distributed offer letters to 22 girls who have been selected by TVS group for recruitment. These girls will join their jobs in September this year after their final AITT exam is over.

Additional Commissioner Jagtap said, he would be sending students and instructors from Pimpri Chinchwad to ITI Berhampur for a one-week program to gain hands-on skills in manufacturing sculptures from scrap.

More than 600 schools in Odisha to adopt ITI Berhampur's 'Waste to Wealth' model

 

Headmasters from 622 schools from 22 blocks of Ganjam district in Odisha today (June 22) decided to adopt ITI Berhampur’s ‘Waste to Wealth’ model by training students to convert scraps into sculptures and models. At a workshop attended by the school heads, organized by ITI Berhampur, it was decided that students from these schools will visit the ITI Berhampur campus in batches to learn the skills of converting waste and scrap into wealth. This will be part of the 5T (teamwork, technology, transparency, transformation and time limit) action plan of the Odisha government prepared for the education department. 

The livewire behind this ‘Waste to Wealth’ innovative concept is Dr. Rajat Kumar Panigrahy, Director, ITT, Berhampur, known as the “Scrap Man of Odisha”, who explained to the school headmasters how waste and scrap can be converted into beautiful models and sculptures by school students. He pointed out how converting waste and scrap into wealth can improve environment. 

Dr Panigrahy urged the school heads to motivate girl students to adopt skills that would help them to join technical education under the ‘Sudakhya’ scheme initiated by the Odisha government. The Sudakhya scheme aims at generating self-employment opportunities for girls and women by enrolling them in government it is.

Berhampur Municipal Corporation commissioner Sri J. Sonal, who attended the workshop, appreciated the innovative skills of ITI students in converting scrap into wealth. "I am highly delighted to see the sofas on which we are sitting on the dais. This is a commendable attitude of ITI students who converted waste into usable products," he said. 

V. Keerthi Vasan, IAS, project director of District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) appreciated the initiative of ITI director in promoting ‘Waste to Wealth’ skills among youths. He said it was a big initiative by inviting students from more than 600 schools to come to the ITI campus to learn these skills. 

Binita Senapati, district education officer, Ganjam, requested all school heads to promote technical education skills among their students, and organize visits to the ITI campus for adopting ‘Waste to Wealth’ concept.

Later, the students and staff of ITI took all the school heads around the campus and showed them various workshops, e-lab, scrap pard, Covid Innovation Centre and Scrap Museum.

Bangladeshi Cricketer Sanjida Akter Starts Training In #Berhampur

 

Berhampur: Bangladeshi cricketer Sanjida Akter Meghla has started training at the Berhampur Physical Academy in Berhampur of Ganjam district to be fit for the upcoming Asia Cup to be held in August-September this year.

Meghla has made a name for herself by participating in various international matches. She has played cricket with various countries like India, Pakistan, Kenya, and South Africa. She is now 64 kg and was worried about her fitness ahead of the Asia Cup.

She came to know about Berhampur Physical Academy through YouTube. The academy has been attracting young men and women who are eager on staying fit or are aspiring for the defense services. Meghla has joined the Physical Academy to lose weight.

The founder of the academy, Ex-Havildar Simanchal Barik, has been working hard to achieve the goal of his students. Meghla is being taught fitness tips both in the morning and in the evening. He is optimistic that she will lose 7 to 8 kg in just 15 days.

It is a matter of pride that an international player from another country came to Berhampur to train at the academy, said Barik. Other students at the academy, who are from different states of the country, are also learning from Meghla, especially after the training is over.

ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁର ଠାରେ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦର ନାଁ ରେ ବାରମ୍ବାର ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ ଭୂଆଁ ବୁଲାଉଛନ୍ତି। ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର ଠାରୁ ୫୦ କିମି ଦୂରରେ ପୁରୀ ଓ ଝାରସୁଗୁଡା ବିମାନବନ୍ଦର ଠାରୁ ୯୮ କିମି ଦୂରରେ ଥିବା ରାଉରକେଲା ରେ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ପାଇଁ ସରକାର ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନେଇଛନ୍ତି। ଉତ୍କେଳା, ଜୟପୁର, ମାଲକାନଗିରି, ବାରିପଦା ପ୍ରଭୃତି ଅନେକ ଛୋଟ ସହରରେ ନୂଆଁ ବିମାନ ବନ୍ଦର ର ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ଦେଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ୪୦ ଲକ୍ଷ ଜନସଂଖ୍ୟା ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଜିଲ୍ଲାକୁ ବାରମ୍ବାର ଉପେକ୍ଷା କରାଯାଉଛି।
